Snow Removal
Please remember that Douglas County ordinance #O-007-003 requires that owners and occupants remove snow and ice from all sidewalks adjacent to their property within 24 hours after snow fall ceases. This ordinance also prohibits residents from shoveling snow or ice into the street.

Landscaping Update

As of Mid-July, our planned improvements to the front entrance have been delayed due to a couple of reasons. We had expected our landscaper to complete the work by July 4th, but due to weather and some comlications this was not possible. The trees which have died at the entrance will be replaced shortly. If you are curious, they died because Shea had originally planted them still in their wire baskets and the roots could not grow accordingly. The board is as frustrated as you in these delays and will update you as soon as we have a new ETC.

Neighbor’s Requests

Trash & Recycling:  Recycling is included with our fees for all Stonebury residents. Due to the prevalence of high winds in our area please ensure that your trash and recycling is secure when placed out for pick up.  See Trash/Recycling page for recycling calendar.

Dogs: Under Douglas County law, failure to clean up dog excrement on County-owned parks and open space may result in a fine of at least $50.
Please be courteous to your neighbors and clean up after your pets.

Traffic:  Please obey traffic rules and drive slow and safe through the neighborhood. Help keep our children safe.
